JustEat raises its marketing spend by another £100m, which is an increase by 40% because they’ve had a period of huge growth- according to the brand, Just Eat Takeaway.com is now two times larger than it was pre-pandemic. They’ve invested further into their branding with the launch of Katy Perry’s ‘Did Somebody say’ campaign, UEFA Champions League Sponsorships and the women’s euros partnerships.
Cinema Blockbusters:
This year, cinema we’re seeing a huge return to cinema with blockbusters like The Batman (£40m) Doctor Strange (£42m) and most recently Top Gun, which has taken top box office spot for 2022 so far with £70m. Q4 is set to follow suit with a slate of highly anticipated films including Black Panther; Wakanda forever and Avatar 2, which are estimated to take 365m at the box office each. Cinema occupies a unique experience where 16-34 years olds have actively planned to pay attention- this makes cinema one of the best environments for brands to land their campaigns with an audience that is engaged and attentive.
