Coast to Coast wrap up
Last weekend, John Kehoe,(CEO), Mark Dolan(Client Services Director) and Tylo Penson (Senior Account Director) cycled a whopping 170 miles over three days from Morecambe to Bridlington all in support of The Trussell Trust.
They cycled for eight hours one day, tackled eight blind summits in a row, and hit two of the hardest cycling inclines in the UK.
John Kehoe says, “On many of the hills and inclines it was easy to feel like giving up because it was hard work- especially when we had eight blind summits in a row! But we all cheered and pushed each other on, and each time, we were able cycle through to the other side, and that was one of the highlights of the journey. Another highlight was getting to cycle through the Lake District and witnessing incredible views whilst cycling at a speed.
Being surrounded by amazing views, and knowing we were pushing ourselves to accomplish something great whilst supporting a much needed cause is a great feeling. Cycling this route and doing it together felt amazing when we’d reached the end of the route and achieved it.”
A bit about the Trussell Trust:
'Our vision is for a UK without the need for food banks. We say this because it’s not right that anyone cannot afford their own food. That’s why we are working towards a just, compassionate future, where no one should have to use a food bank to get by. Our vision is ambitious, but we know that if we work together it is possible. We can create a future where nobody goes hungry, because nobody will allow it – when we work Together for Change.#TogetherForChange'- The Trussell Trust

The Trussell Trust needs your donations
The Trussell Trust says that food banks in their network gave more than 2.5 million emergency food parcels to people facing crisis between April 2020 and March 2021. More than 980,000 of these went to children– that’s almost two parcels on average every minute. That’s why we want to do our best to support them, food banks, and people in financial crisis. #TogetherForChange.
Our guys and the rest of us at mag have raised a lot so far, but even the smallest amount can go a long way in supporting a food bank. Click here to donate:
