Bonnier Books: Summer OOH campaigns
We’ve been working with Bonnier Books, a London publishing company, to bring attention to two amazing books this summer in OOH campaigns.
The Right Sort of Girl by Anita Rani
The TV and radio presenter has recently released her memoir, which was published last week. Mag helped Bonnier Books market the new release by doing a digital six sheet campaign in Bradford, Anita’s home town.
ABOUT THE BOOK:
‘Empowering and energetic, The Right Sort of Girl is a coming-of-age story of identity. Trying to navigate her Indian world at home and the British world outside her front door, Anita Rani was a girl who didn't fit in anywhere. She shares with us the lessons she wishes her 16-year-old self could have known then. Anita takes you into a world you might never have been to before: the life of a second-generation British Indian woman up north – loaded with all the baggage and conflict that label brings. Never holding back, Anita allows us to access every part of her life, her failures and mistakes, the good and the bad, how she managed to become the powerhouse she is whilst battling against being too white inside her home, too brown outside of it. Through sheer determination and learning to adapt to any situation she found herself in, she overcame tricky odds and found a new way to define who she is. Ultimately, she created a space for herself to be seen. If you have ever felt alone, different, or just not the right sort of girl, this is the book for you. Fizzing with energy, hilarity and charm, Anita's memoir is one for the ages.’
Legacy of War by Wilbur Smith; paperback edition
After running the campaign for the hardback earlier on this year, we’re now bringing attention to the paperback edition to reach summer holiday and travel audiences. The campaign activity is running for a few weeks around publication to get early sales numbers up- specially the second week of sales -which is critical for chart success. The ads are targeting coastal and city areas for the holiday makers, and they’re also spread through London and the midlands.
ABOUT THE BOOK:
Beloved characters Leon Courtney, Centaine De Thiry and Shasa Courtney return in the action-packed and gripping sequel to Courtney’s War, and the epic conclusion to the Assegai sequence.
‘The war is over, Hitler is dead – and yet his evil legacy lives on. Saffron Courtney and her beloved husband Gerhard only just survived the brutal conflict, but Gerhard’s Nazi brother, Konrad, is still free and determined to regain power. As a dangerous game of cat-and-mouse develops, a plot against the couple begins to stir. One that will have ramifications throughout Europe . . . Further afield in Kenya, the last outcrop of the Colonial Empire is feeling the stirrings of rebellion. As the situation becomes violent, and the Courtney family home is under threat, Leon Courtney finds himself caught between two powerful sides – and a battle for the freedom of a country.’
