Creative trends of 2020!
Creative trends and looking for ‘what will be next’ -is what creatives live for and are driven by.
Colours, typefaces, fonts and language – whether on TV, online or print are all big influencers and have the power to transform a brand or campaign.
In 2019, typographic was a big trend, as well creating moving content which was simple, clean and light. We also saw the rise of much shorter TV adverts that go beyond the product itself and venture into the advertising medium, like Burger King, who referenced the booking of their airtime as being too short in their latest 10s commercial.
2020 is looking like the age of all ages. Creative campaigns are likely to feature multiple age groups and genders depicted in a very simple and natural, true to real life way.
Creativity is also likely to be more expressive and passionate. People are more public and open about their opinions and preferences than we’ve ever seen before, mainly thanks to social media.
And, once again, colour content is king, but this time instead of a myriad and colour bursts, it is heading towards a palette of maybe 2 or 3 colours but used extremely vibrantly to draw in the customers attention.
Art Deco and surrealism are also experiencing a resurgence so don’t be too surprised to see these influences making it onto a TV commercial or poster near you.
